Job Title: Deputy Head of Dietetics - Coastal Network

Overview

This is a temporary part-time position within the Allied Health Department at Southern NSW Local Health District. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of quality services in dietetics to patients/clients across the coastal network.

Location and Employment Type

The location of this role is negotiable within the Coastal Network - Bega and Moruya. The employment type is temporary part-time with an expected 23 hours per week.

Classification and Remuneration

The classification for this role is Dietitian Level 3. The remuneration is $56.69 to $58.52 per hour.

Responsibilities

The Deputy Head of Dietetics will be responsible for:

  • Leading the multidisciplinary healthcare team in delivering quality services in dietetics to patients/clients
  • Developing and implementing clinical and operational plans to meet the health and wellbeing needs of patients/clients
  • Providing leadership and guidance to dietetics staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborating with other departments and services to achieve district-wide goals and objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA)
  • Highly proficient written, verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Extensive knowledge and clinical proficiency in dietetics
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead a multidisciplinary team
