Key Responsibilities

The Allied Health Department Head will lead the delivery of quality services, work collaboratively with the team, and make clinical and operational decisions. The role requires:

  • Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA)
  • Demonstrated highly proficient written, verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Extensive knowledge, clinical proficiency and ability to work collaboratively and lead a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and organise dietetics caseloads across a small regional team

What You Will Need To Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current unrestricted driver's licence and the ability to maintain it. You will also need to demonstrate high level problem solving and project management skills, as well as experience in participating in clinical research and knowledge of the research process.
