Job Overview

The Centre Manager is responsible for leading the Hamilton Centre, overseeing contract management, and managing key stakeholder relationships.

The centre provides statewide specialist services for people living with mental illness and substance use or addiction. It was established in response to recommendations from the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System.

The role oversees contract management responsibility for service KPIs, data, and financial reporting. It also leads continuous service improvement and innovation activities, contributing to funding proposals and complex tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and management of the Hamilton Centre

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification/experience in a senior management role
  • Minimum of five years relevant industry experience in the management of AOD or mental health clinical and/or education services
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and negotiation
  • Demonstrated ability in service development and planning
  • Financial management experience and demonstrated ability to develop plans and monitor budgets and report to governance committees and organisational executives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience in project management
