Physiotherapist - Paediatric Rehabilitation Role

The Royal Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Paediatric Rehabilitation Team. As a key member of the team, you will provide physiotherapy services to children and adolescents with complex rehabilitation needs.

">Key Responsibilities"
  • Provide physiotherapy services to children and adolescents with a range of conditions, including acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopaedic surgery, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans in consultation with the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
  • Conduct assessments and develop reports on patient progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A physiotherapy degree qualification from an accredited course or university.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Satisfactory completion of continuing professional development and recency of practice requirements.
  • Uphold the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct.
  • Clinical experience in paediatric rehabilitation management.
