
WHS Officer

The primary role of the WHS Coordinator is to provide expert assistance and support to staff and leaders on Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) whilst managing the organisation's WHS systems, programs and procedures ensuring compliance.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all employees by implementing effective WHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Develop and implement Return to Work (RTW) programs to support injured employees in their return to work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role coordinating and managing WHS activities.
- Sound knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, practices, and standards.
- Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
