We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our community as a Religious Education Coordinator. This pivotal role involves leading the spiritual and ethical formation of the school community, driving the delivery of a rich and engaging curriculum that explores faith traditions and fosters critical thinking about values, purpose, and moral responsibility.
As a key member of our team, you will oversee the implementation of faith-based programs and initiatives, guide liturgies and worship services, and develop the spiritual growth of students through comprehensive and inclusive practices.
To ensure your success in this role, we provide extensive training in our professional learning program, Catalyst, as well as access to high-quality curriculum resources that support evidence-based teaching practices.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver an innovative and engaging Religious Education curriculum that promotes critical thinking and moral responsibility.
- Lead the spiritual and ethical formation of the school community through strategic planning and implementation of faith-based programs.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement effective teaching practices that cater to diverse student needs.
- Guide and facilitate liturgies, worship services, and other faith-based activities that promote spiritual growth and development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching qualification.
- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
- NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be a practicing Catholic.
- Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest.
- Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the relevant policy.
