We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Director Of Event Technology. This position will be responsible for assisting the Director Of Event Technology in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the audio-visual department activities.
Responsibilities include preparing for client / production meetings, identifying opportunities to increase profitable revenue in applicable venues, and maintaining effective communication with Accounts Department, other venues, and interstate offices.
Key Qualifications And Experience- Previous experience in meetings and events is essential.
- Proven track record of a successful event management career.
- Sound knowledge of Audio-Visual Equipment and the hire thereof.
- Excellent planning, organisational, time management & account management skills.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
- Customer centric and ability to build strong and long-lasting customer relationships.
- Previous experience in serving high end client is highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written), negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines.
- Strong rostering and cost management experience.
- Experience in the hospitality or luxury sector.
- Qualification in Hospitality or Events is highly regarded.
- Team player. Working rights in the country where the role is based.
