We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Director of Event Technology.

About the Role
  • This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in events and audio-visual technology.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director of Event Technology in ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the audio-visual department.
  • Prepare for client/producers meetings and weekly sales meetings.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue in applicable venues.
  • Maintain effective communication with the accounts department, other venues, and interstate offices.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in meetings and events is essential.
  • A proven track record of successful event management is required.
  • Sound knowledge of audio-visual equipment and equipment hire is necessary.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, time management, and account management skills are required.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills are essential.
  • A customer-centric approach and ability to build strong relationships are crucial.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), negotiation, and influencing skills are necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines is required.
  • Experience in rostering and cost management is preferred.
  • Qualification in hospitality or events is highly regarded.
  • A team player with working rights in the country where the role is based.
