We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to lead our data transformation efforts for a key university initiative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enhancing our data infrastructure and security, ensuring data accuracy, security, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement a comprehensive program to improve employee and payroll master data.
  • Collaborate with data and analytics experts to enhance functionality in payment and assurance models.
  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and integrity while addressing technical issues and supporting data infrastructure needs.
Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in managing and improving master data, particularly in employee and payroll domains.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL and big data technologies for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Experience working with data experts to enhance models and resolve data-related technical issues.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and governance practices to ensure data security (e.g., Essential Eight).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and provide clear documentation.
