About the Opportunity
The University of Western Australia is seeking a highly qualified Academic in Finance to join our dynamic team. As a Finance Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and developing inclusive curricula for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct impactful research in finance, seeking funding and collaboration with other institutions.
- Contribute to School governance and participate in activities that promote inclusion and diversity.
- Deliver innovative teaching approaches, assessment, and materials for units and courses.
Requirements
- Hold a PhD or equivalent in Finance.
- Demonstrated research interest, and ability to teach, in at least one of ESG / sustainable finance, or quantitative methods / risk management.
- Demonstrated interest in the application of Big Data and machine learning techniques to finance-related problems.
