Job Overview

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires 40 hours of work per week.

The role involves maintaining safety and quality systems across the organization. This includes minute-taking for annual meetings and following up on actions to ensure progress.

In addition to this, the successful candidate will be responsible for supplier approval, customer liaison, and other ad hoc tasks as requested by management.

Laboratory administration support will also be required from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems throughout the Organization.
  2. Minute taking for annual meetings (HACCP & Management reviews) for numerous sites, following up actions on a regular basis.
  3. Assist with supplier approval systems for the Organization.
  4. Liaising with suppliers and customers, ensuring current information is available.
  5. Complete other ad hoc tasks / reasonable requests as and when requested by management.
  6. Laboratory Administration cover where required.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, good communication skills and the ability to converse at all levels of management and operator teams.

The successful candidate should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess good IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.

Additionally, they should have experience with meeting deadlines and have GCSE's Grades 9-5 including English or equivalent. A-Level education or equivalent demonstrable experience would be preferred.
