High-End Property Journalist Opportunity

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned property journalist to write our flagship column and cover the Sydney prestige property market.

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the high-end property market, excellent newsroom experience, and advanced skills in cultivating, maintaining and managing contacts.

  • Deliver engaging content about the Sydney prestige property market to a highly engaged audience.
  • Write the regular Title Deeds column, breaking exclusive news stories every week about Sydney mansion sales of $10 million-plus.
  • Maintain working relationships with Sydney's upper-end real estate agents, and visit some of Sydney's finest homes.
  • Conduct thorough research to uncover news leads, and flesh out news stories.
  • Cover the upper-end home renovation scene, including plans for alterations and additions.
  • Consider analytics feedback and collaborate with the national property editor on story illustration and headlines.
