Warehouse Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Automation Specialist to join our team in Moorebank, Western Sydney. In this role, you will play a crucial part in preparing our brand-new Automated Store Pick Warehouse for live operations.

Your main focus will be on ensuring all equipment is technically ready and the site is clean and safe for customer testing and handover. You will work closely with the Project and Service Teams to prepare equipment like robots, ASRS systems, pallet conveyors, and other tools to ensure they run smoothly and reliably.

This includes clearing out any leftover debris and keeping the environment controlled during final testing. Your work will be instrumental in making sure customer testing goes well and that the site is ready for long-term success as it moves into full operation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Clean up as you go to maintain a safe working area around machines.
  • Rapidly clear system blockages and collaborate with the team to minimize delays.
  • Document causes of blockages to help prevent future occurrences.
  • Prioritize fixing issues correctly the first time and look for opportunities to improve.
  • Build strong relationships with other teams and serve as a helpful resource for questions.
  • Utilize live dashboards to identify and address slowdowns before they become significant problems.
  • Support the setup and testing of the system to guarantee everything is ready for live operations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, report hazards, and contribute to maintaining a safe workplace for everyone.
