We are seeking an accomplished automation professional to spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge control systems.

Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced controls engineer to lead high-impact engineering projects that drive innovation and growth in the industry.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, programming, and integrating industrial automation systems from concept to commissioning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing bespoke automation solutions for machinery and robotic cells
  • Programming Rockwell and/or Siemens PLCs and developing HMIs
  • Performing robotic programming with ABB and/or KUKA robots
  • Integrating and troubleshooting vision systems - including Cognex, Micro-Epsilon, or Mech-Mind

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in controls engineering across programming, PLCs, HMIs, and vision integration
  • Proven capability with Rockwell and/or Siemens PLCs
  • Experience with robot programming using ABB and/or KUKA robots
  • Strong knowledge of vision systems, ideally Cognex, Micro-Epsilon, or Mech-Mind
  • Skilled in electrical schematic design and component selection
  • Experience delivering diverse and bespoke automation projects from scratch
  • Familiarity with a broad range of industrial communication protocols
