Make a meaningful impact in the financial services industry as a Trading Application Support Engineer. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring maximum availability and performance of our trading applications across web, mobile, and API channels.In this role, you will provide 1st and 2nd line support for the trading platforms, monitor system performance in real-time using Nagios, Splunk, AppDynamics, Geneos, and bespoke tools, and proactively fix support issues to prevent downtime.Liaise with external vendors, other support teams, and development departments to ensure incidents are resolved efficiently. Shifts on a weekly rotational basis include some weekend on-call work, rotated through the team one week every month.We're looking for a self-starter with a passion for IT, including 3-5 years experience in IT support, especially with the MS Windows stack (Windows Server OS) and application support.A Systems Support Engineer role, Application Support Specialist role, or Technical Support Engineer role would be ideal for someone with your skillset.Candidate must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be proactive in identifying and resolving technical issues, and have a strong understanding of technical concepts and systems.The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.You'll expand your technical toolkit while working alongside accomplished professionals in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
