Job Description

We are seeking a talented HR Career Development Specialist to join our People & Culture team in Melbourne's west. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while building your HR career.

This is an initial 3-month contract, working closely with experienced HR Business Partners and gaining exposure to a wide range of HR processes and projects.

The role is full-time, but may also be available on a 4-day per week basis, with a flexible hybrid arrangement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as the first point of contact for HR queries from managers and employees
  2. Support staff movement workflows, reporting, and HR documentation
  3. Assist in developing and streamlining HR processes to improve the employee experience
  4. Create reference guides and provide training on HRIS systems
  5. Contribute to compliance, continuous improvement, and process efficiency initiatives
  6. S support end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in an HR Coordinator role (or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for process improvement
  • Confident working with HRIS systems
  • Able to interpret EBAs (health sector experience advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and ability to work at pace in an agile environment
