HR Career Development Specialist

We are seeking a talented HR Career Development Specialist to join our People & Culture team in Melbourne's west. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while building your HR career.
This is an initial 3-month contract, working closely with experienced HR Business Partners and gaining exposure to a wide range of HR processes and projects.
The role is full-time, but may also be available on a 4-day per week basis, with a flexible hybrid arrangement.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries from managers and employees
- Support staff movement workflows, reporting, and HR documentation
- Assist in developing and streamlining HR processes to improve the employee experience
- Create reference guides and provide training on HRIS systems
- Contribute to compliance, continuous improvement, and process efficiency initiatives
- S support end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in an HR Coordinator role (or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and passion for process improvement
- Confident working with HRIS systems
- Able to interpret EBAs (health sector experience advantageous but not essential)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and ability to work at pace in an agile environment
