The VALD Product team is responsible for turning ideas and feedback from clients into reality.
We are looking for a skilled professional to join our Product Strategy team. As a key member, you will be responsible for owning the product lifecycle of SAAS Core Services.
You will lead product discovery to understand business needs, functionality gaps, and user pain points for the SAAS Core Services team.
You will translate insights into clear user requirements and acceptance criteria, maintain a prioritized backlog aligned with business priorities and strategy, and facilitate agile ceremonies.
You will also coordinate delivery across engineering and product teams, contribute to technical discussions to support solution design, represent the Core Services domain in cross-functional collaboration efforts, and collaborate with engineering to create transparent frameworks and processes.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to develop unparalleled insight into human movement, performance, injury risk, and rehabilitation.
You will be comfortable engaging conversations with engineers to ensure technical decisions and trade-offs are well understood and appropriately weighed against business requirements and outcomes.
This role requires experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst, Software Engineer, or similar in a SAAS environment. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, backlog management, and delivery tracking is essential.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences are required. Experience with cloud-native platforms, identity management, authentication, compliance, and API-first architectures is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and drive alignment across teams is necessary. A growth mindset aligned with continuous learning and development is expected.
Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communications skills are required. Strong leadership skills and curiosity to understand how products solve business problems are essential.
About the Team
The team is split into two functions - product strategy and engineering. You will work closely with both teams to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
