You'll develop and deploy a quality management system to support product configuration from design to production. You'll work in a learning culture focused on innovation and iterative development, with a great work-life balance and competitive benefits.

This role will involve collaboration between our Wacol facility and Central Brisbane office, with travel to other production locations as needed. Your work hours will align with production needs, with flexibility to adjust in consultation with managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configuration Management: Integrate quality management system requirements into production processes and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Knowledge of drawing systems, configuration management principles, and product data management is essential.">
  • Audits: Support Product Configuration Audits and Functional Configuration Audits to verify compliance with quality management standards.">
  • Quality Metrics and Certification Plans: Develop quality metrics, certification plans, and compliance strategies to ensure regulatory and company requirements are met.">
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions to resolve production issues and strive for zero defects.">
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with project teams on configuration improvements, metrics, and findings, and support Quality Production Specialists in their roles.">
  • Continuous Improvement: Establish process improvements and paperwork requirements to support this role. Ability to determine processes, document them, and organize people and activities is crucial.">

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.">
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and configuration management, preferably in aerospace or advanced manufacturing environments.">
  • Strong understanding of the AS9100 standard.">
  • Hands-on experience in part/process qualification and certification.">
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and metrics.">
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.">
  • Knowledge of software development and testing tools is a plus.">
