About the Role

AustralianSuper is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join its Real Assets team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in delivering investment-related activities, including asset acquisitions and asset management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain key financial models to support the team's objectives
  • Monitor and assess asset and portfolio performance
  • Research and provide insights into new markets, sectors, and investment opportunities
  • Lead the financial modelling workstream and be the primary point of contact for all financial modelling and valuation questions
  • Support diligence workstreams and produce detailed investment valuation analysis for transaction approval papers
  • Prepare quarterly reporting for select investments in the Real Assets portfolio
  • Oversee and review portfolio company performance and annual Business Plans
  • Demonstrate leadership and mentoring skills to uplift capability across Real Assets
  • Ensure risks are appropriately managed, including risk identification and management, risk profiling, and risk reporting
Requirements
  • Previous Analyst level experience in investment banking, infrastructure funds management, or investment consulting
  • Familiarity with the infrastructure or infrastructure-adjacent sectors
  • Strong experience in financial modelling and Excel skills
  • Strong presentation skills and capability in using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills
