Mobile Service Technician Role

The role of a Mobile Service Technician is to deliver high-quality field service and supply of fluid transfer solutions to customers. The job requires traveling to sites within Goulburn and surrounding areas, replacing hoses in breakdown situations or completing new installation work on various machinery.

This is a hands-on role that involves working independently as well as being part of a team. The successful candidate will have trade/field services experience in fitting/mechanical background and/or hydraulics, with the ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering consistent and accurate high-quality field service and supply of fluid transfer solutions to customers
  • Replacing hoses in breakdown situations or completing new installation work on various machinery
  • Traveling to sites within Goulburn and surrounding areas

Requirements:

  • Trade/field services experience in fitting/mechanical background and/or hydraulics
  • Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately
  • Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
  • Desire to be a team player
  • Ability to arrange and plan priorities
  • Anticipate problems and be pro-active in finding solutions
  • Strong understanding of customer service
  • Have an understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices
  • Ability to carry out instructions
  • Medically fit for the task
  • Be well presented and groomed
  • Trade certificate
  • A current Manual Driver's License and willing to obtain an MR License

Working Conditions:

  • Flexibility with working hours as after-hours availability and overtime is a pre-requisite
  • Must reside within the area (or willing to relocate immediately) with full Australian Permanent Residency
