Job Summary:

This role involves assisting customers in selecting the right eyeglasses frames and lens options based on their prescription. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting and adjusting lenses to eyeglass frames, dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses, measuring member's eyes for pupillary distance and determining bifocal placement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fits and adjusts lenses to eyeglass frames
  • Dispenses eyeglasses and contact lenses
  • Measures member's eyes for pupillary distance and determines bifocal placement
  • Assists members with choosing eyeglasses frames and lens options appropriate to prescription
  • Answers questions and addresses problems regarding prescriptions

Requirements:

  • High School Certificate or higher
  • Certificate IV Optical Dispensing
  • Appropriate Optical dispensing equivalent experience
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Basic math skills
