Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team as a specialist in traction power systems. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of the 25kV Traction Power System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and reviewing system performance to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Planning and scheduling maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Conducting inspections, testing, modelling, and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement recommendations.
  • Leading technical investigations and fault analysis to resolve complex issues and ensure safe operation.
  • Developing and implementing maintenance strategies and asset performance analysis to enhance overall network efficiency.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a Degree in Electrical Engineering, with eligibility for membership as a Chartered Professional Engineer. You should have demonstrated expertise in high voltage protection relays, SCADA systems, and 25kV Traction Power design, construction, and maintenance within a railway environment.

You should also have excellent analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
