Traction Power Engineer Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Traction Power Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining the 25kV traction power system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new traction power systems and equipment;
  • Maintain and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance and safety;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement improvements;
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement;
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
  • Proven experience in traction power system design, construction, and maintenance;
  • Strong knowledge of high voltage protection relays and SCADA systems;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to stakeholders.
