About the Opportunity

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Australia's infrastructure landscape.

This challenging position demands a unique blend of precision, creativity, and strategic thinking to deliver winning bids.

  • Lead the cost estimation process for high-profile infrastructure tenders, applying in-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop competitive bids that meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for tenders and bids, taking into account project complexities and supplier costs.
  • Analyse technical specifications, drawings, and project scopes to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Sources pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure optimal cost management.
  • Develop effective cost strategies to mitigate project risks and ensure timely delivery.
Your Background:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in estimating for marine, bridge, and/or concrete infrastructure projects.
  • Proven expertise in civil engineering principles and construction methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
