Senior Infrastructure Engineer

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced engineer to design, manage, and maintain our infrastructure. This includes physical, virtual, networking, and cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICT platforms, network infrastructure, and cloud services. They will work closely with our technical teams to ensure the provision of a robust and secure infrastructure capability for our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement infrastructure requirements to meet future demand.
  • Provide expert technical support for project build, test, and solution deployment activities.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation.
  • Manage the operation of backup, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions for IT systems.
Requirements:
  • At least five years' experience in the design, management, and maintenance of internet gateway and/or large-scale data centre networking environments.
  • Demonstrated experience and technical proficiency in designing services utilising F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing VPN technologies, email, and DNS (Infoblox) Solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with Palo Alto firewalls and IPS Solutions.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining system architecture and design documentation.
