About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to lead our physiotherapy services at Alta Allied Health.

This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about patient care and eager to take on a leadership position.

You will be responsible for providing expert clinical care, driving the growth of the clinic, and providing assistance and feedback to the research and development team.

This role offers a unique blend of hands-on clinical work, leadership responsibilities, and the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing management for patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior physiotherapists and other allied health professionals within the clinic, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Clinical Excellence: Utilize state-of-the-art VALD technology and evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes, staying updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals within the clinic, including occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, and dietitians, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Education & Advocacy: Conduct patient education sessions and community outreach programs to promote health and well-being, and advocate for the importance of physiotherapy within the broader healthcare landscape.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
  • Proven experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced physiotherapy techniques and technology.
  • Professional independence and ability to manage a varied caseload.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
