Search Engine Optimization Specialist for Ecommerce

    We are seeking a skilled Search Engine Optimization (SEO) specialist to develop and implement organic search strategies for our growing ecommerce projects. As an SEO expert, you will work directly with clients and internal teams to drive digital growth and improve online visibility.

Responsibilities:
  • • Conduct thorough technical audits of websites to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhanced performance.
  • • Use data from various sources to evaluate the effectiveness of SEO initiatives and suggest improvements in e-commerce, technical SEO, and conversion rate optimization.
  • • Create and maintain detailed reports and dashboards to track key metrics and inform future SEO strategies.
  • • Manage SEO initiatives including site architecture, keyword research/analysis, content creation, and link building to optimize search engine rankings.
  • • Assist clients in local SEO strategies, including setting up Google Business and Bing Places for Business, as well as developing hyperlocal content strategies and amplification plans.
  • • Conduct competitive research and analysis to synthesize findings into actionable recommendations for clients.
  • • Perform keyword research to inform content strategy and identify opportunities for enhanced content on specific topics.
Requirements:
  • • 2+ years of experience working in search engine optimization.
  • • Genuine care about clients and their campaigns.
  • • Self-starter with drive and initiative to develop skills.
  • • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (page markup & schema, URL structures, site crawl performance, server vs. client-side rendering, caching & CDNs, etc).
  • • Strong analytical skills – able to navigate analytics data with ease and discover insights that lead to new opportunities.
  • • Demonstrated experience using and understanding SEO tools (such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, among others).
  • • Proficient experience in Microsoft Office Excel and G Suite products.
  • • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
