To be successful in this position, you must possess strong leadership skills, including the ability to engage children through activities and experiences appropriate for age groups and stages of development. Prior experience in mentoring educators is also essential, as is a mature and professional approach.

The ideal candidate will hold an ACECQA approved Diploma/Bachelor qualification and be able to plan, implement and evaluate programs effectively. Current Working with Children's Check, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement and evaluate programs through a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Engage children through activities and experiences appropriate for age groups and stages of development
  • Mentor educators to meet high standards of curriculum and documentation
  • Ensure rooms are immaculately presented as a welcoming and safe environment

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Holds an ACECQA approved Diploma/Bachelor qualification
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one
  • Current Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain one
