About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Bairnsdale Regional Health Service to join our Environmental Services team as a Casual Cleaner. We are seeking motivated individuals with cleaning experience, excellent work ethic, and the ability to work autonomously.

This is a stable and growing industry with a focus on delivering quality services and continuous improvement. As part of our team, you will work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, performing a range of cleaning duties to ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment is maintained to the highest level at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • To perform a range of cleaning duties including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • To maintain a responsive and customer-focused service across the whole Health Service.
  • To work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
What You'll Get

We offer a competitive hourly rate including 25% casual loading – starting rate of $30.18, increasing to $33.04 after three months, plus shift allowances and penalties, superannuation, and access to extensive salary packaging options.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience with a range of cleaning methods (or willingness to learn).
  • A good knowledge of the safe use and application of chemicals required for industrial cleaning.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of duties within daily routine.
  • A good level of physical fitness required to undertake manual handling duties.
