Bartender Position

Our sophisticated lounge bar is seeking a skilled Bartender to craft memorable mixology experiences for discerning guests.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, with the ability to communicate fluently in English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including signature cocktails, wines, and spirits
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about our menu offerings
  • Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Accurately process customer orders and handle cash and credit card transactions using our POS system
  • Collaborate with the kitchen to ensure timely and efficient food service
  • Monitor and maintain bar inventory, placing orders for supplies as needed
  • Assist in creating new cocktail recipes and seasonal drink specials
  • Ensure adherence to responsible alcohol service practices and local regulations

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in an upscale lounge or cocktail bar setting
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
  • Completion of a Barista course and Wine and Spirit (WSET) training is desirable
  • Expert knowledge of mixology techniques and current cocktail trends
  • Knowledge of food and beverage pairing is beneficial
  • Strong multitasking abilities and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
