Job Title: Site-Based Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our mobile plant maintenance operations.

This is a site-based role offering long-term, secure work in a high-performing team. As the ideal candidate, you will take ownership of the maintenance department and drive results across heavy plant and equipment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of trades including plant mechanics, auto electricians, and boilermakers.
  • Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on machine performance, downtime, and scheduling.
  • Implement maintenance strategies, safety protocols, and parts ordering.
  • Maintain a strong safety-first culture across all site activities.
  • Deliver efficient labor utilization and support field diagnostics and repair.

Requirements:

  • A Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification (AUS/NZ recognized).
  • Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience.
  • Proven background in mobile equipment maintenance – mining & civil.
  • Strong working knowledge of Hitachi, Komatsu, and Epiroc.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to lead and liaise across all levels.
  • Solid technical ability – diagnostics, planning, problem-solving.
  • A valid manual driver's license.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical, DAS, and provide a current Police Clearance.
