Youth Development Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to provide care and support to children and young people in out-of-home care and/or living within at-risk families.
This role involves being the primary caregiver during shift, ensuring the safety of young people, and imparting essential life skills to establish a consistent routine.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Planning and engaging in meaningful activities with the young person.
- Being a vital part of a cohesive team dedicated to helping young people achieve their personal goals.
- Promoting good hygiene and nutrition.
- Maintaining daily case notes, handling administrative tasks, and preparing incident reports.
To be successful in this role, you will require a Certificate IV or higher qualification in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Youth Services, Community Services, or a related field. Additionally, you will need a current Blue Card (Working with Children's Check QLD) and a current Licensed Care Service (LCS).
