Credit Analyst Asset Finance Job Description

We are seeking a commercially-minded Credit Analyst to join our Asset Finance team. Our purpose is to provide financing solutions for businesses, enabling them to thrive and grow.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, structuring, and approving credit submissions for Asset Finance facilities.

  • You will prepare, undertake, and produce high-quality credit submissions.
  • You will liaise with Sales teams and third parties to gather necessary information and data for credit submissions.
  • You will educate brokers, accountants, and other stakeholders on the credit submission process to ensure smooth interactions.
  • You will assist in structuring and submitting Asset Finance credit facility submissions, including Multi Product Transactions.
  • You will assess and approve credit submissions, as well as conduct regular credit reviews.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • 3 years of credit writing experience, preferably with an exercisable delegation/lending authority.
  • Previous experience in Asset Finance or Commercial Business lending is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of credit analysis, assessment, and deal structuring.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of initiative.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
