About the Role

Senior IT Business Analyst is a key position requiring expertise in time and attendance data analysis, payroll systems, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Assessing time and attendance data to ensure accuracy of employee pay against enterprise agreement rules.
  • Collaborating with the data and analytics team to enhance pay modeling and reflect actual employee payments.
  • Maintaining compliance with industrial instruments, relevant payroll legislation, and EA provisions.
  • Nurturing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payroll & time and attendance queries and issues.
  • Identifying and documenting potential solutions and gaining agreement from key stakeholders.
  • Documenting risks and/or solutions associated with improving time and leave processes and system.
  • Supporting operational business units with solutions to meet EA pay rules.
  • Reviewing processes regularly and recommending efficiency improvements.
About You:
  • You're an experienced professional with an excellent understanding of time and attendance, payroll systems, legislation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory payroll requirements, employee timekeeping systems, and working with payroll teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret awards, EBAs, and industrial instruments for timekeeping systems.
  • Experience with complex large organizational timekeeping systems and compliance projects preferred.
  • Previous experience working with data models and processes related to payroll and time and attendance systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective relationship-building and communication at all levels.
  • Capability in using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
