Support Professional Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Support Professional to join our team in providing active support to individuals with disability, enabling them to develop personal interests and engage in community activities.

This role involves developing and implementing behaviour support plans that promote positive outcomes for participants, administering and documenting medication as required, and managing and escalating challenging behaviours in a safe and respectful manner.

  • Key responsibilities will include:
    • Providing active support to enable participants to develop personal interests and engage in community activities
    • Developing and implementing behaviour support plans that promote positive outcomes for participants
    • Administering and documenting medication as required
    • Managing and escalating challenging behaviours in a safe and respectful manner

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disability
  • Experience working as a support professional in a challenging environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of behaviour support plans
  • Ability to manage and escalate challenging behaviours
  • Flexibility with sleepover shifts and rotating roster
  • Relevant qualifications (C3 in Disability, Individual Support or equivalent)
  • NDIS Worker Check, National Police Check, and Full Unrestricted Driver's license
  • First aid and CPR certificate
