The role of a Theatre Technician is a vital component in the delivery of exceptional educational experiences for students.
This position requires an individual who can work effectively under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
About the RoleKey responsibilities include:
- Planning and Prioritization: Develop effective task planning and prioritization skills to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
- Technical Operations: Manage lighting, sound, audio-visual, staging, and other equipment in our Performing Arts and Exhibition Venues.
- Supervision and Safety: Supervise the operation and safety procedures for technical equipment used in these venues.
This role requires excellent organizational skills, knowledge of theatre operations, equipment, and maintenance, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
