Procurement Expert

The Procurement Expert will deliver high-value procurement outcomes that support the agency's strategic objectives.

You will partner with stakeholders to plan, develop, source, and manage procurement arrangements that are efficient, transparent, and aligned with government policy.

This is a dynamic and influential role where you'll lead sourcing activities, manage supplier relationships, and provide expert advice to build procurement capability across the agency.

You'll also be responsible for identifying and mitigating procurement risks, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement in procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality procurement services within a public sector environment.
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage complex sourcing activities, negotiate with suppliers, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement legislation, policy, and risk management practices.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement in procurement practices.
