Secondary School Science Teacher

The role of a Secondary School Science Teacher is multifaceted, requiring a dynamic individual who can design engaging lesson plans that stimulate critical thinking and ignite curiosity. They must foster a classroom culture that values individuality, respect, and a love for learning.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to connect with students, parents, and peers, as well as the ability to seamlessly integrate technology to create interactive lessons that prepare students for the digital age.   • Designing and implementing lesson plans that are both informative and enjoyable for students;
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and exploration;
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievement;
  • Providing regular feedback and guidance to students on their performance and areas for improvement;

To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field, preferably a Master's degree. VIT registration is also a requirement. Furthermore, you should demonstrate exceptional passion for empowering young minds and guiding their journey towards excellence. Adaptability and flexibility are crucial qualities, as you will need to adjust your teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching science subjects to students from Years 7-12;
  • Developing and implementing curriculum programs that align with school policies and goals;
  • Coordinating with colleagues to ensure seamless integration of subject matter across different year levels;
  • Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the development of school policies and procedures;

Requirements:
