Urgent Care Team Leader | Full Time Opportunity

Are you a skilled and experienced registered nurse looking for a challenging role in urgent care? This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Urgent Care Registered Nurse and be part of a dynamic healthcare service.

The Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate registered nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our urgent care setting. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for triaging patients, conducting comprehensive nursing assessments, and providing front-line care in collaboration with medical practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage patients accurately and efficiently
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments to identify patient needs
  • Provide person-centered care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners
  • Perform procedural work such as suturing and plastering
  • Work autonomously and delegate tasks when appropriate
Requirements:
  • AHPRA registration as a registered nurse
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in acute care settings
  • Previous experience in triage within emergency departments or ICU is highly desirable
  • Ability to assess and recognize health deterioration and escalate appropriately
  • Strong communication skills and critical thinking abilities
