Job Description

This role involves supporting the Production and Logistics Manager in managing production timelines, coordinating with manufacturers and suppliers, and handling administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and obtaining quotes from international and local suppliers for manufacturing requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate production delivery dates and handling administrative tasks related to product certifications.
  • Recording batch details and conducting quality control checks on retention samples.
  • Providing up-to-date artwork to manufacturers and assisting in general quality control efforts.
  • Generating purchase orders for manufacturing production and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Coordinating with freight forwarders for stock movements and shipping logistics.
  • Monitoring and reporting any shipment delays and providing necessary paperwork for shipments.
  • Managing stock in transit to warehouses and supplying dispatch dockets and packing lists.
  • Assisting in stock management, including repacking requirements, barcode tasks, and new product setup.

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar or extensive Administration role.
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft suite applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • The ability to multitask and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • An effective team player.
