Empowering Lives: A Behaviour Support Practitioner Role
About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our forward-thinking team in Melbourne North. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining relationships with individuals and their families, providing direct behavioural interventions, and supporting colleagues and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support Plans.
- Support and train colleagues, caregivers and support workers on clinical techniques.
- Partner with professionals to develop and implement individualised client goals and checklists.
- Adhere to legislative requirements regarding timely and accurate report writing and documentation.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support.
- An existing NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proven experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst or Behaviour Therapist.
- Effective time management skills and ability to prepare technical reports.
- A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
