About the Role

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of people experiencing housing poverty. As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tenancy and property management services.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including government departments, clients, and relevant support agencies. Your role will involve performing administrative tasks, reporting, addressing complaints, adhering to compliance requirements, and maintaining accurate property and tenancy data in all required systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality tenancy and property management services
  • Perform administrative tasks, including reporting and data maintenance
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing client-focused tenancy management services
  • Solid understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act
  • Relevant skills and experience in working sensitively with a diverse customer group
  • Confidence in liaising with various stakeholders
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a caring and empathetic nature
  • Previous experience working on MS Office programs
  • A current driver's licence
