Product Designer

We are seeking a skilled MCAD engineer to join our team. As an MCAD engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing 3D models and assemblies using Siemens NX CAD software.
Your primary focus will be on injection moulded plastics design and associated advanced MCAD modelling techniques. You will work closely with industrial designers, mechanical engineers, and cross-functional teams to design and develop new products.
Main Responsibilities:- Design and Development: Detail the design of parts, assemblies, and associated manufacturing drawings in NX CAD, with a particular focus on Injection Moulded Plastics design, and associated advanced MCAD modelling techniques.
- Conceptualisation: Create mechanical concepts to solve technical requirements in a simple and robust manner.
- Collaboration: Work with industrial designers, mechanical engineers, and cross-functional teams to design and develop new products.
- Prototyping: Construct prototypes and perform mechanical and functional testing.
- Tolerance Analysis: Perform 2D Tolerance Analysis of MCAD assemblies.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in industry.
- Availability: Available for immediate start.
- Skills: Plastics (primarily injection moulding), Sheet metal, Metals for CNC machining.
- Aptitude: Excellent and innate mechanical engineering aptitude, coupled with a passion for designing and building products or machinery.
- Problem-Solving: Superior problem diagnosis & solving skills.
- Personality: Positive, self-motivated disposition and personal accountability.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail.
