What we're doing
Product Designer - Advertising team (Open to location, Permanent full time)
We're looking for a talented all-rounder product designer to join our Advertising team. As part of your role you will be unlocking purchase capabilities in our self-serve customer products - making it easier for our customers to do the jobs they need to.
In this role you will be working closely with Product managers, other designers and delivery teams to understand product needs, ensure a seamless purchasing experience. This role will involve end to end product design; including discovery workshops, customer research, stakeholder management across the business, as well as defining and executing the experience.

As part of our customer self service platform team, you'll create experiences that connect our customers with the millions of buyers, renters and sellers who use

every month. You'll work on complex, strategic projects that will play a key role in shaping the future of our customer experience. You'll be comfortable taking initiatives throughout the design process from discovery through to delivery, whilst actively collaborating and partnering with designers and stakeholder groups across the business.

A few things you'll be doing day-to-day:
- Explore new ideas and creative solutions that surprise and delight our users and create a positive brand perception, maintaining our market-leading position-
- Understand business opportunities, user journeys, user needs, competitive landscape, and technical constraints to deliver products to market that drive user satisfaction and business growth-

- Deliver world-class products and features for our users, leveraging sketching, prototyping, user interface design, motion and interaction design methods.-
- Validate design solutions using qualitative and quantitative research techniques.-
- Work with others to plan, prioritise and undertake 'just enough design' using a lean mindset to achieve goals and deliver on objectives-
- Deliver commercially feasible user-centric design solutions that meet team goals and business objectives.-
- Present work and participate in providing feedback in regular design critiques to ensure consistency and quality outcomes.What we're looking for- Someone with a few runs on the board, 3+ years of experience designing products using industry standard design tools and best practice processes-
- Someone highly analytical with experience using analytics platforms-
- Someone with experimentation experience and a problem-solving mindset-
- Someone who looks at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lens-
