We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Recreation Planner to provide valuable work experience and assistance with university tuition fees.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of strategies for recreation and community facility infrastructure, such as cemeteries, parks, playgrounds, sporting facilities, aquatic facilities, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of recreation and community facility infrastructure strategies;
- Develop skills in research, community engagement, and recreation planning practices;
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including staff, residents, and visitors;
- Multitask and prioritize work within an environment of competing demands;
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) to manage data and reports;
- Hold a current Class C unrestricted driver's license.
- A part-time opportunity of 14 hours per week, over 2 days (flexibility provided around university commitments);
