
Recreation Planner Intern

This is an exciting chance for a student currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree to gain valuable work experience and develop skills in recreation planning, community engagement, and research.
Main Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for recreation and community facility infrastructure.
- Assist in the design and delivery of programs and services that promote community participation and social inclusion.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including community groups, government agencies, and other partners.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Enrolled in a Bachelor degree qualification in Sports Recreation, Town Planning, Social Sciences, Community Development or other relevant degree qualification.
- Satisfactory academic achievement in current undergraduate studies.
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to multi-task and prioritise work within an environment of competing demands.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Hold a current Class C unrestricted drivers license.
This is a part-time role, 14 hours per week, over 2 days, with flexibility provided around university commitments. Tuition assistance program, supportive learning environment, corporate fitness program, and free parking are also offered.
