Platform Solutions Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Platform Team. This role is crucial for managing team performance, overseeing technology project delivery, and ensuring day-to-day operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of strategic plans and lead the tactical execution of operational initiatives.
• Lead and manage team performance, productivity, and quality in line with business objectives.
• Coordinate incident management, request fulfillment, and project allocation to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain effective communication channels between teams and stakeholders regarding technical issues and change management.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point and internal technical reference for platform matters.
• Develop and maintain knowledge bases, operational procedures, and processes to ensure seamless operations.
• Implement standardised procedures for Infrastructure Change Management, Escalation, Incident, and Problem Management.
• Evaluate and escalate technical queries to management according to established protocols.
• Foster collaboration between Technology Teams and service providers to maximise service delivery.
• Maintain awareness and compliance with Company policies and procedures.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises and allocate resources accordingly.
• Proactively develop team capabilities, manage talent, and coordinate resource allocation.
• Optimise service delivery through effective resource coordination and capacity planning.
• Implement risk management, governance, compliance, and accountability systems.

Skill Requirements:

• 5-10 years of relevant technical experience or 3+ years in a Team Leader position within a similar organisational environment.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical incidents and their business impact.
• Well-developed troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, maintaining a strong customer focus under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a small technical team.
• Proven experience in developing, documenting, implementing, and evolving operating policies, processes, and procedures.
• Practical experience with centralised IAM solutions such as Okta, Ping ID, and Entra ID.
• Proficiency in directory services, including Active Directory or similar.
• Expertise in MFA systems, including passwordless authentication services.
• Comprehensive understanding of IAM standards and protocols, including SAML, OAuth, WS-FED, OpenID Connect, Kerberos, and SCIM.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Competence in technical writing and translating technical details into business-friendly language.
• Experience training and mentoring IAM administrators on best practices and large-scale IAM projects.
