Medical Oncology Fellow

Metro South Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Oncology Fellow to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional to contribute to the advancement of breast cancer treatment and care.

Job Description:

The Medical Oncology Fellow will be responsible for participating in the multidisciplinary management of breast cancer patients, attending weekly breast cancer multidisciplinary meetings, and providing inpatient and outpatient care by assessing patients, determining and instigating appropriate investigations; establishing management plans for patients in consultation with consultants; ensuring discharge planning commences early in the process of care (inpatients only).

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Completion of training in Medical Oncology within the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP)
  • Interest in breast cancer
