Job Summary

A Configuration Management Lead is required to oversee the development and implementation of configuration management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and strategic planning.
  • Manage daily CM activities, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Provide strategic guidance to achieve program outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of CM processes, tools, methods, and techniques.
  • Facilitate Configuration Management Audits.
  • Ensure change control against approved baselines and implement approved changes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the CM database.
  • Ensure day-to-day tasks align with the configuration management plan.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 5 years' experience in a configuration management role, preferably with Defence experience.
  • Formal training in Configuration Management.
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management Tools.
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management principles, plans, procedures, and processes.
  • Strong leadership skills and team building capability.
  • Ability to distribute Configuration Management knowledge across the organization.
