Cockburn is a dynamic and rapidly growing city with a strong focus on community development. Our team at Cockburn ARC is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Senior Activity Leader - Sports.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a leading local government facility, delivering and supervising a range of diverse sport programs and services. You will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, working unsupervised and flexible hours to meet the operational needs of the Sports Department.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a drive to deliver outstanding service, and a passion for sports. The ideal candidate will also have current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate, Working with Children Check, and National Police Clearance.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique facility that caters for the recreation activities of thousands of residents. You will have the chance to work with a variety of stakeholders, including community groups, schools, and local organizations.

The position is being offered on a casual basis, with hours of work required primarily on weekends (7am-6pm on Saturdays and Sundays) with some coverage needed during the weekdays also. Additional hours may be rostered on occasion to meet sports and programs operational coverage requirements.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $44 per hour (including 25% casual loading). This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a leading local government facility and contribute to the growth and development of our community.
